These are my first experiments with fabric manipulation and dyes during my diploma year in FAD International Academy.
They were dyed in turmeric with wax texture and photo inks.
The vision was to create an aesthetically fascinating fabric with respect to the rawness of nature by using resources that were available in hand.
The techniques used in these fabrics below is Wax resist, Fabric manipulation and Shibori.
These garments were showcased in India Fashion Week, Dubai (FAD Exhibit) 2014
